His first album, the amazing "Tales of Mysteries and Imagination" gave him name recognition to the general public in 1976, but his impressive talent was showcased long before that. Mainly a producer/engineer Alan's work is woven in the fabric of the collective consciousness. He had his hand in some of Rock and Roll's biggest albums, most notably assisting with the engineering of the Beatles "Abbey Road" at age 18 and later engineering several albums from the Hollies and Paul McCartney, he was the producer of Pink Floyd's landmark "Dark Side of the Moon" and Al Stewart's "Time Pasages".

This Grammy nominated genius has been involved with 44 albums, his most solo recent release is called "A Valid Path" and most recently he is on Alan Simon's "Excalibur Trilogy" .
